KMI offer Mixed billing for most of our services in line with Medicare guidelines. We are committed to ensuring our services are accessible and affordable to the wider community and any services with a fee are very competitively priced.

Our commitment is to provide a high quality, low cost, or Bulk-billing imaging service for our community, which enables everyone to afford our high-quality service. However, Medicare fees are not in line with raising cost.

  • OOP fees apply to all ultrasound examinations
  • Medicare does not cover multiple services during a single visit.
  • X-Rays all Bulk-billed
  • Ultrasounds Obstetrics more than one scan Private fee applies
  • Bone Mineral Density or DEXA scans bulk billed if Medicare guidelines are met
  • CT scans all Bulk-Billed except Injections
  • 3D Cone beam CT - privately billed
  • Pain management injections – privately billed
  • Biopsy, Fine Needle Aspirations – privately billed * OOP fee applies
